Art in Salcey Forest - original exhibition

Geodesic weave

Another denizen of the forest, this time based on the geodesic patterns created when I make Pine needle figures, Geodesic weave is made using brass wire. I installed this sculpture with its clay former intact to allow the interaction of the weather to wash/erode this away to reveal the sculpture. The photos show this process during the first few months.
