Web weaves

Inspired by quantum physics I wanted to make sculptures which had a reasonable physical size and were strong enough to be installed in natural environments but which were almost non-existent, more space than matter. Looking for strength and delicacy I was inspired by watching spiders weave their webs and developed the technique which led to making the Body weaves. I have since created a number of sculptures and installations specifically inspired by spider webs, and one 'spider' sculpture, and run web weaving workshops in Salcey Forest.
